Story behind the treasure: Amy was bought with £3 pocket money that my Grandad gave me. He couldn’t believe I had spent all of it on her! She had a pink ribbon around her tail that kept falling off which Gran had to sew on – it remains today! Grandad died suddenly that year and I felt she was my link to him. She bears the marks of many years - an ear hanging off and teeth marks where a dog tried to eat her. She’s my most treasured possession; I don’t mind admitting that she’s always in my handbag at a job interview!
