Story behind the treasure: These are my father's Indenture of Apprenticeship in H&W & a Scouts Bravery Certificate. My father was born in 1919 and his grandmother who was very poor, paid weekly for his apprenticeship. The bravery certificate was for stopping a runaway horse. These speak to me of a hardworking & brave man who loved the natural world & environment and of a time that was somehow gentler, that valued true endeavour rather than our current 'throw-away' society.
