Story behind the treasure: This white bone china with design of Regency lady and baby pre 1810 was the only thing that my mother owned of her Blundell forbears wealth and estates. Memories persisted of other items sold in attempting to regain the property. Her father suppressed the story, whilst rmembering this relic in his grandfather's cottage unsused among neccessities of life.
In tracing its history, decades of Chancery proceedings came vividly to life, letters of Admirals, documents of crooked lawyers, yeomen Puritans and iron founders of the Weald.
