Story behind the treasure: After the death of my husbank I was moving to a smaller house. My grandson 3, was worried his Grandad would return and find it gone. I decided to make a replica of the house and take it with me. I took measurements of the house and although I had never done any woodwork made the house and furniture. I have yet to make a Ford Cortina for the garage. My 4 children and 7 grandchildren love it. It is a 60s home of a very ordinary but loving family. p.s. Grandad returned in the hall window!
