Story behind the treasure: My cherished keepsake is a collection of over 80 letters mostly from my father to my mother during world war two. There are photographs mentioned which I also have. The collection includes a few cartoons including one of my father reading our letters to him. On the back of each letter my father sent a letter to Sonny and Sweetheart (my brother and I) There are letters from my Uncles, a few from parents of an evacuee we had and a tiny pouch which has a curl of my hair inside sent to my father.
