Story behind the treasure: This little baking rack is very special to me. It belonged to my mother, bought in the 1930s and evokes many happy memories of time spent in my childhood home's kitchen baking biscuits, cakes and these 'fairy' cakes that I still make today using my mother's recipe. My own children and now my grandchildren have all enjoyed baking and using this old baking rack which is slowly falling apart. So far four generations have used it - hopefully it will last to make five.
