Story behind the treasure: This 147 year old book " sciptural Catachism" was presente to my grandfather Hugh Rodger, a 10 year old pupil at Disley Sunday Schoolin 1864 and four 145 years it has beenin my family. Grandfather, born at Woodend farm on thomas Legh's Lyme Park Estate, was a successful Farmer exhibiting 'Judging and breeding cattle, horses and poltry. he was involved in founding the National Farmers Union, Disley horticultural society and setting up Disley Rural District Council. Did this book ,'My Treasure forever', and life on the Lyme Estate Influence him to become such a Spirited Victorian?
